A workshop for anyone interested in deepening their relationship to community and activism. Somatic and embodiment practices will help us tune into our bodies to collect, think and feel what we are longing for. We’ll be invited to identify our roles in the world, and what we care about, grounded in our whole presence, in finding joy and play. Playful activities from mindful movement, journaling, collective reflection and social transformation mapping will support participants to birth joyful transformative acts of militancy into our lives and environments.
Among many resources, this workshop is inspired by "Joyful Militancy: Building Thriving Resistance in Toxic Time" – a book by carla bergman and Nick Montgomery – and by the social change ecosystem map by Deepa Iyers.
